Being in the region, we decided to hit the trails for the first time this year.
The trails were nice and there were some belvederes where you could really enjoy the waterfall.
If you are a fan of rapid style waterfalls, I would suggest going here. On the other hand, if you are looking for a good hike, I would advise against.
There are no maps available and the trails are not maintained in the winter. At one point (after about 30 m inutes), our trail just stopped and we had to break through the snow for the rest of the hike.
You might even think that we weren’t on a trail! How would we know? There were no markings.
Further up there seemed to be a lake but, not knowing when we would be able to make it there, we decided against.
Basically, a nice place to walk around and have some nice views of the rapid falls .. but not a place for a hike.
Luckily, it was a beautiful day and, in good company, we get over these minor set backs.
Happy Hiking.
