Note :

Who would have thought that there were so many parks ON the Island of Montreal.

This park was our first attempt at checking out the Montreal “wilderness” and we weren’t dissapointed. Our vacation week had been a total failure at this point because of the rain. We needed to head out and clear our heads!

A lot of the trail is along the Rivière des Mille-Îles. There are many little “beaches” with picnic tables. After a sh*tty week, this was a nice change.

The sunset

On our way back, we got distracted by a fox.

Once we stopped looking at the fox, we noticed that we were right next to the Parc Nature de l’Anse-à-L’Orme.

There is a beach looking to the western horizon giving us a magical view of the sunset!

Once it was set and we had basked in its magnificence, we were on our way.

Happy Hiking

On our way back, we stopped by the “Parc de la Nature L’Anse à l’Orme” to enjoy a perfect sunset! ☀️🔥🌊 #montreal #sunset
