The start

You start off at the parking along an easy flat trail for about 1km. Once well into the woods on the #7 path, it’s a steep, well maked ascent to the summit. There is only one brief viewpoint along the way up but that’s okay, the summit is well worth it.

The summit

2.66km from the start you are rewarded with an amazing view of the region. There is also an unmarked trail to your right, on your way to the summit plateau, that leads to a second view point (this one doesn’t connect to the trails)

At this point, you can either go bac for a nice 5.3km day or head on the grand tour trail (continuation of #7).  Even though it’s a lot longer, it’s a less abrupt descent.

The grand tour

This is a magical trail through the forest on a slow descent.

The road back

The last 3.5km of the trail are along an all-terrain-vehicle trail. Not very challenging but is a nice relaxing cool down.

The beach

If you have some time, head down to the beach and admire the beautiful mountain you just conquered!

Pour terminer en beaute, nous nous traverserons le Mont Tremblant du Nord au Sud en passant par la Timber et les cretes jusqu’au Pic Johannsen pour redescendre la piste qui porte le meme nom jusqu’a la Base Sud.
